Do I need prior experience?

No prior experience is necessary for our introductory courses and recreational programs. For advanced instruction or professional training, prerequisites are listed in each course description.

What should I bring?

We provide all specialized climbing gear. Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks. Additional requirements are listed by program.

Is it safe?

Safety is our top priority. All programs are led by certified instructors who follow industry best practices and use professional-grade equipment.

Are your courses worth the investment?

Absolutely. Our courses are designed to deliver practical skills and lasting value. In fact, we stand behind them with a simple promise: if you don’t feel you gained new knowledge or skills, we’ll refund your tuition in full.

How long are the programs?

Program lengths vary. Introductory experiences last about 2 hours, while multi-day courses and overnight adventures are also available.

Can I book a private or group session?

Absolutely. We offer customized sessions for individuals, families, schools, and organizations. Private instruction is available upon request.

Where do programs take place?

Our programs run in St. Louis and the surrounding Midwest region. Locations are selected for safety, accessibility, and a memorable outdoor experience.

Warrior’s Way Training

2-Day Trad Mental Camp

This advanced 2-day course applies Warrior’s Way’s full methodology to traditional climbing. Students must already be leading on gear. The camp includes falling practice backed up by a slack top-rope, gear placement drills, and mental training centered around the 5 Intentional Processes.

Climbers will also learn how to identify and approach no-fall zones—areas where falling carries unacceptable consequences—and how to commit appropriately in yes-fall terrain. Instruction includes the Stop/Move Cycle and BEB(Breathing, Eyes, Body) technique to guide decision-making and movement.


Day 1 – Foundations & Practice

    • Reviewing solid placements and evaluating marginal pro
    • Placing gear while stressed to build trust
  • Mental Framework
    • Introduction to the 5 Intentional Processes
    • Applying the Stop/Move Cycle to trad climbing
  • Incremental Falling Progression
    • Fall practice on gear (with slack top-rope backup)
    • BEB technique applied to falling and resting
  • Mental Process Training
    • Resting and Thinking at protection
    • Assessing fall zones and Decision-Making in context

Day 2 – Application & No-Fall Terrain

  • Skill Progression
    • Continued incremental falling on gear
    • Applying risk assessment in more committing terrain
  • No-Fall Zones
    • How to identify no-fall zones on trad routes
    • Mental strategies for approaching no-fall terrain with poise
  • Application Climb
    • Lead or mock-lead attempts on challenging gear routes
    • Full Process integration with coaching and feedback
  • Wrap-Up
    • Individualized reflection and development plans
    • Tools for ongoing mental training on gear
